Hello, curious minds,
For those who don’t know, #celltember is an initiative/challenge created 2017 in which, during the month of September, we talk about something related to the Cell. Yes, because the cell is worth it!
As you know, humans -like many other organisms-, are multicellular beings. In fact, we are made up of quite a large number of cells, it is estimated that we have about 30,000,000,000,000 cells. But not only do we have a large number of cells, we also have an interesting variety: about 200 cell types. Some cells are quite “famous” like neurons, lymphocytes, ovule and sperm cells… but others quite unknown, though no less important. Have you heard of M cells? or Paneth cells or oligodendrocytes? To remember and learn more about our own #cells, we meet on September 1st when #Celltember2020 begins.
Ah, and very important! You can also actively participate by sharing photos, data, and illustrations of your favorite cells. For those of you who want to follow my list, here it is, and let’s learn all together. And don’t forget to use #celltember #celltember2020! For those who can’t or don’t want to do this challenge, commenting, asking, sharing and likes… are an excellent way to support and make this much more fun!
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. See you!
